Briefing Room Media Wall
Backlit artwork · Integrated architecture · Wayfinding element
A large-scale backlit art wall forming one side of the atrium, concealing a blank elevation while incorporating the briefing room entrance and live status display.
-
With the Voyager Bar at its centre, the atrium functions as a shared social space for staff and as an event setting for up to 250 people.
The Voyager Lounge seating and programmable lightboxes occupy one side of the space. Opposite, a large blank elevation required equal presence. The briefing room media wall was developed to anchor that side of the atrium, contributing atmosphere while maintaining everyday circulation.
-
The wall was designed as a single large-scale lightbox. An existing rainwater pipe required the artwork to be split into two sections, which shaped the final composition.
The framing and structure were built to establish the scale of the installation and integrate it fully with the surrounding interior, so it reads as part of the space rather than applied artwork.
-
The completed installation delivers a high-resolution backlit artwork that incorporates the briefing room doorway as an intentional part of the wall.
An integrated screen at the entrance displays the room’s live status and is controlled internally. Lighting ties into the wider atrium system for coordinated operation.
