A full-scale replica space motorbike developed for live events promoting the science-fiction title Star Citizen, designed for direct public interaction.

The Dragonfly is a two-person hoverbike featured within Star Citizen, appearing in multiple configurations and finishes throughout the game. Its recognisable form made it a suitable candidate for real-world translation.
Unlike static display pieces, the brief required the replica to be handled directly. It was designed to be sat on, climbed onto and photographed repeatedly by attendees at live events.

The model was engineered to balance visual accuracy with structural integrity. An internal steel framework distributed the combined load of the vehicle and multiple users while maintaining the correct external form.
As a touring installation, the Dragonfly was designed to break down into transportable components, suitable for repeated air and sea freight between international venues.

The completed model weighed close to half a tonne and incorporated integrated lighting, real leather motorcycle seating and event-specific paint finishes.
Built for durability as well as appearance, the Dragonfly has been deployed globally under sustained public use. To date, more than 1,500 people have interacted with the installation at live events.
